WELLNESS MATTERS: CELEBRATING ONE YEAR OF EMPOWERING MEDICAL STAFF

January 24 @ 11:00 am – 5:30 pm
“Wellness Matters,” sponsored by the Specialists Well-Being Pilot and CWIM. This gender inclusive event will be held both in person and virtually, and is open to medical staff, medical students, residents, APs and leaders throughout Interior Health. The event is completely free for all attendees.
Our distinguished speakers will address important topics such as:
- “Compassionate Leadership” Dr. Jane Lea
- “Cognitive Distortions” Dr. Marie Claire Bourque
- “Closing the Gender Gap in Canadian Medicine” Dr. Tara Stratton
- Control and Influence in the Medical Profession Occupational Psychologist Ester Pike
Additionally, we are excited to offer a range of activities, including a styling experience with personal stylist Ash Laverdiere, and pop-up shopping with Cao Boutique, as well as opportunities for yoga or a workout to round out the day.
Please bring gently used clothing to donate to Kelowna Womens Shelter, or another local charity of choice.
