RACIAL & GENDER EQUITY IN MEDICINE AND SPORT

Cheryl Jean-Paul is a well known and recognized basketball coach with numerous coaching diplomas and designations who has spoken at various engagements on topics such as transformational coaching, women in sport, leadership, racism in sport, equity and inclusion . “This lunch and learn will build on a successful physician session at Royal Inland Hospital” In this session you will:

• Learn about recognizing and speaking up against discrimination in medicine
• Gain some perspectives on discrimination from those affected
• Learn how and why to eliminate microaggressions
• Participate in an interactive dialogue and discussion

Location: Clinical Academic Campus – CAC 106 LT

As a pilot regional psychological safety event, a 1 hour sessional payment is available to physicians who attend this session.
